It is so easy to be involved in negativity. Whether it is physically or mentally. You don’t have to look hard to find the bad things in life. What is more difficult is finding positive things to talk about and part of this is by design. I was with my family and they cut the news on at my place and they know I do not watch television. First thing came on was the alleged murdering of police by a brother in Dallas, Texas and the brother being murdered. This frustrated me as it was supposed to by design, the media’s agenda was to play into others emotions.
1 DON’T LISTEN TO THE MEDIA
Your favorite show, program or whatever cut it off. The news stations are all owned by the same people and have the same scripts just a different station. You are wasting your time getting into that and pointless politics. Do something productive.
2 GO ON WALKS
I can’t stress this enough. Listen to the sounds of nature. Go somewhere nice and just sit there feel the breeze and hear the rustling of the leaves. Even the smell of nature will make one relaxed.
3 PICK UP AN ACTIVITY
Start writing in a journal of your experiences. Begin writing stories. Become interested in art. You know that saying as a kid when you are bored “Oh there’s nothing to do” well nope that’s a lie, there is always something to do. Now get up and go find it!
